Harem Party - The Original
An unframed 50 × 50 cm original artwork by Belmin Pilevneli.
A mixture of both contemporary and Ottoman inspired elements turned into shapes and forms. The idea is to make a reference to old traditions of the Ottoman Empire like the Harem –where the emperors had a private place full of women they fancied and chose from– from an abstracted and contemporary perspective. This is why there are more "feminine" and rounded patterns.
