Portrait N°3 - The Original
An unframed 60 x 50 x 2 cm original artwork by Asli Torcu.
"This painting is from a series of portraits (polyptych) who was inspired by the faces of street children. Living in the Paris region, these faces are very familiar to me but also unfamiliar. We meet these child beggars or sellers in almost all the big cities. Sometimes in the illegal camps along the highways that cross the city, in the middle of the crossroads where you stop at a red light. Their faces call out to me, haunt me, so I painted them." - Asli Torcu.
This original piece was created using Acrylic, ink, mica powder, pigments, and oil paint on canvas.
