An unframed 70 x 50 cm original artwork by Coskun Demirok.
The Story
"My paintings are often results of spontaneous, not always conscious actions. I generally intend to create an artwork which should appear as if it was painted accidentally. I even try to reach a kind of anonymity of 'typical' characteristics. In my opinion an artist shouldn’t try to invent their 'own style' which means that an attentive Observer wouldn’t be able to recognise."
"I prefer to title a painting after finishing it. This work of me points to marks in a parallel world to ours which we cannot see with the naked eye. This is why I chose this title."
