Proscenium II has a limited edition print run of 10 across one square size, created by Nina Rodin.
Each giclée print comes unframed with a white border, printed with archival inks, with a digitally signed label by the artist. The print captures details, textures and colours of the original artwork and is printed on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag 308gsm paper. The Story
Proscenium II was a pop up installation in St. Cergue, Switzerland, in December 2019. The 4 m tall curtain of logging tape was only up long enough for some photographs, including this one, to be taken.
Proscenium is the Greek term for the metaphorical plane of vertical space that separates the public auditorium from the stage - it can be marked by an arch, the edge of the stage or, at the end of a performance, a curtain.
The installation contrasts the playful, alluring, celebratory colours with the drama of climate change brought on by deforestation.
In addition to the work available through H&E, this artist has an extensive portfolio available on request. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for a copy.
