"SEVILLE, Spain. Bask in its warm glow and wander, with your eyes, these ancient and modern streets ripe with coves and plazas. One example of Seville's heritage architecture sprawls along the bottom of the print - my hand-drawn sketch of the Plaza de Espana, built for the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929 and recently restored by the city. The map focuses on the Casco Antiguo, the historic city center and extends as far south as Tablada and La Oliva, north to the Parque de Miraflores. The western boundary is the Guadalquivir, with Santa Clara at the eastern boundary."
"This is a Limited Edition print of my original watercolour painting in variegated tones of orange, reminiscent of the ubiquitous orange trees on the streets and courtyards of the city, as well as the warm sandstone colours of its cathedral and the magnificent exhibitions halls of the Plaza de Espana. The print comes unframed." - Kirsten Sparenborg.
